Enter a massive dungeon with a party made from scratch.Just to remind you what it's going to be like: For this reason, we’ve decided that it would make more sense to release both the DLC and Enhanced Edition on the same day, June 6. However, after postponing it for a month from late April to late May, we’ve realized we now had 2 releases lined up one after the other in the space of a week. Such was our plan for “Beneath The Stolen Lands”, our 3rd DLC, as well. Some of our shrewder fans have already figured out that we like to release things near the end of the month. It can be explored in a separate game or experienced within an adventurer’s main campaign. It's frustrating and to be honest, not fun at all.For the days where jumping into an unpredictable gauntlet of combat sounds more enticing than discovering the Stolen Lands’ rich lore, this DLC will introduce a rogue-like randomly generated endless dungeon, complete with a new unique boss. And still the devs insist on pulling this stunt. Look at the complaints about spider swarms, overwhelming bandit hordes, the surprise attack in the Old Sycamore camp, the wererats, etc. I have advanced far enough in the game to have other options to know what my next step should be and will follow the natural and tested progression of the game (off to Flintrock Grassland to follow Amiri's quest and then back to Candlemere Tower). But it grinds my advancement in the dungeon to a halt. I know enough to turn back and try at later levels (not persist forward as you recommend). There should have been a gradual increase in the level of difficulty in the dungeon. Most of the players going through, I imagine, are much lower level than I am, and the slap in the face frustration of this roadblock will kill any momentum they had going forward, especially if they just want to try out the new DLC. I am level 12, working on level 13 in this 2nd playthrough, have finished the game once.
